This course is designed to define, discuss and demonstrate how to develop an assessment process that will evaluate an institution’s overall institutional effectiveness. Areas of concentration will include defining institutional effectiveness, the role of mission and vision in the strategic planning process, and the establishment of department goals that are developed through the institution’s strategic plan that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bound.
